Movies You Like
Dude man bra, I shall have to see this movie.
A movie I like would have to be Love Song for Bobby Long. Chick's mother dies, chick moves in with two alcoholics because her mother had a claim on the house, lives with them for a while... I can't say much without spoiling it, but it's good. And it all takes place in New Orleans. Which makes it even better since I go there pretty regularly and have actually been to a few of those places.
Saving Private Ryan
I love watching this movie for its story and action. Mostly about a group of soldiers sent out to find Private Ryan and to bring him home. Fill with action, drama, and a little comedy, i find this movie to be one of my favorites.
Starring Tom Hanks,Edward burns, Matt Damon, and Tom Sizemore. Directed by Steven Spielberg.

Some can't, its a hard movie to enjoy. I know a movie we can both agree on that we like...The Dark Knight, lol. Who doesn't like the Joker and Batman going at it.
[to Det. Stephens] Do you want to know why I use a knife? Guns are too quick. You can't savor all the... little emotions. In... you see, in their last moments, people show you who they really are. So in a way, I know your friends better than you ever did. Would you like to know which of them were cowards?
One of my favorite lines in the movie.

My favorite movie has alwys been Super Mario Bros., the live action one. I read a lot of hate about that movie on the web. It's fun to watch and I can watch it over and over again.
Serius.
Since it costs 2 cents to share your thoughts, and you only get a penny for them, just stop talking.
That is a pretty awesome movie, but i still wish they would of had a better storyline to it. But, yeah, could watch that again, and maybe again. lol

I wish they made the sequel.

Fight Club. I love Fight Club! And I love There Will Be Blood, also. Two great movies!
On a recent note, Inglorious Basterds was GREAT!! Such a well done movie!
I'm also a big fan of Fight Club, but I never saw the other movies. I will have to give Inglorious Basterds a try. Anyway, Fight Club is one of those movies you probably couldn't improve if you tried.
Oh definitely. I read the book (well most of it) and I'd say it's the best book-to-movie transition I have ever seen. They hardly left out anything. And the way they did some scenes makes you feel as if it belonged in the book in the first place.
My favorite movie of all time has to be The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy!! If you haven"t seen it, it's about aliens, comedy, and a british guy named Arthur! It was originally a book by Douglas adams, and the movie adaptation of the book was quite good! Best lines in the movie!
"The Book: It is important to note that suddenly, and against all probability, a Sperm Whale had been called into existence, several miles above the surface of an alien planet and since this is not a naturally tenable position for a whale, this innocent creature had very little time to come to terms with its identity. This is what it thought, as it fell:
The Whale: Ahhh! Woooh! What's happening? Who am I? Why am I here? What's my purpose in life? What do I mean by who am I? Okay okay, calm down calm down get a grip now. Ooh, this is an interesting sensation. What is it? Its a sort of tingling in my... well I suppose I better start finding names for things. Lets call it a... tail! Yeah! Tail! And hey, what's this roaring sound, whooshing past what I'm suddenly gonna call my head? Wind! Is that a good name? It'll do. Yeah, this is really exciting. I'm dizzy with anticipation! Or is it the wind? There's an awful lot of that now isn't it? And what's this thing coming toward me very fast? So big and flat and round, it needs a big wide sounding name like 'Ow', 'Ownge', 'Round', 'Ground'! That's it! Ground! Ha! I wonder if it'll be friends with me? Hello Ground!
[dies]
The Book: Curiously the only thing that went through the mind of the bowl of petunias, as it fell, was, 'Oh no, not again.' Many people have speculated that if we knew exactly *why* the bowl of petunias had thought that we would know a lot more about the nature of the universe than we do now."
I only read parts of the book, but they were amazing. The movie was pretty amazing as well.

that's hilarious! I've never finished that book.
I'll start with a movie I like. Then, you post a movie you like. Be sure to describe the movie, but be careful not to spoil the story. Also, tell us why you like the movie.
Feel free to comment on other movies posted, but try to include a new movie with each post.
Fanboys
I absolutely love this movie! Fanboys is about four fully grown teenagers on a quest to steal Star Wars Episode One from Skywalker Ranch. The story is dumb but believable, and come on, it's Star Wars!
Actually, it has a lot of Star Trek in it, too! The four main characters absolutely love Star Wars and never liked Star Trek, but they run into Trekkies throughout their adventure. Their adventure begins when they learn one of them has cancer.
Throughout the movie, you'll enjoy some extremely funny (and sometimes retarded) jokes, and you'll recognize some big-name actors... and actresses. The ending is just and downright inspirational, yet extremely funny, to me at least.
