And the winner is...
posted by Tap on 06/07/2011

GL's first contest had a surprisingly disappointing turnout. Sad There were many hit-and-run entries, and most users did not provide a Steam username! There were only three valid entries, so the prize had to go to Kaustos, Knox, or saxoraros.

So the winner is... Knox!

The winner was chosen at random, and the prize was chosen from a small list of games under $20. So what's the prize?

Knox will receive Numen: Contest of Heroes!
I tried the demo, it's not bad.

Special thanks to saxoraros and Kaustos for being loyal to the site for so long. I may arrange another contest soon to give you two another chance at winning.

P.S. Knox, fix your Steam profile by giving it an alias, and tie it to your profile. I made an exception for this contest because you provided a working link, but you really need to fix it.

I honestly think you should save this game and try another contest. Try and get more people to join, since we did not get one new person to register for the contest.

As for winning, I'll relinquish the prize to another person. Maybe if one of these two receives it they'll be a bit more active Party

Sad Ok, but I still can't work the GetLives Steam profile thing. I enter my steam name (Bananahogie) into the space in my profile, click it to test it out and it always results in an error.

You need to set it up! Go to the Community tab on Steam, click on the "Profile" link at the top of the page. It should load your profile page. Click on the "Edit Profile" link on the right. Then, scroll down until you see the "Custom URL:" field. Enter the id you want and hope it is available. Wink

I actually changed my Steam id moment ago: http://steamcommunity.com/id/TapSkill/

I'm trying to make TapSkill my online presence. Seems unique enough.
